The cafe is located on the ground floor of the hotel on the corner of historic Dong Khoi Street and Lam Son Square, just metres across from Saigon’s iconic municipal theatre, better known as the Opera House.

During the day, as temperatures soar and the heavens threaten to open, Café de l’Opera becomes a refuge for travellers and the like, just as it always has been since the hotel doors opened in the 50s. Over high-tea, things slow down, friends catch-up, business associates meet and lovers hold hands.
